GLOW OF JOY: A PINK AND YELLOW CANDLELIT CELEBRATION

When I first found out I was pregnant with Saide, I wasn’t sure I wanted a baby shower. After experiencing a previous miscarriages, the idea of celebrating felt overwhelming, and I wasn’t exactly excited about hosting one. But my friends—who know me better than I sometimes know myself—insisted that I would regret not doing it. And, as it turns out, they were absolutely right.
Knowing I tend to be a control freak, I decided to plan my own shower. I wanted an intimate gathering with the people I love, something personal and low-key—just like the care I put into every project for my clients. Now, looking back at the photos, I couldn’t be more grateful for that decision.
The event was a pastel dream in pink and yellow, radiating warmth, love, and the soft glow of countless candles. Blush roses and cheerful yellow blooms filled every corner, with carefully curated floral accents bringing the whole look together. The tablescapes, featuring tall tapers and glowing votives, set a scene that was both playful and elegant.
This shower wasn’t just about welcoming Saide—it was a heartfelt celebration of my journey, the love that supported me, and the new beginning marked by the arrival of her to our life’s.
